# fframes-kit docs

> Animated components for fframes videos, grouped by what they do, each with its explanation, its code and a rendered demo.

fframes-kit is a library of animated components for [fframes](https://github.com/dmtrKovalenko/fframes)
videos. It takes Remotion's model (a video is a function of the frame), Manim's names
(`Write`, `Transform`, `MathTex`) and draws LaTeX with a built-in Typst, so formulas need no
TeX installation.

## How the docs are organised

- **Start** covers installing the kit, the first video and the optional LaTeX setup.
- **Core** is the part every video uses: time containers and fades, text and formulas,
layout and shapes, transitions and effects, overlays and media, [slides and decks](https://fframes-kit.pages.dev/docs/slides.md),
and how to write your own component.
- **Kits** are the subject libraries behind cargo features: math, physics, chemistry,
computer science, machine learning, biology and 3D.

Every component section shows the explanation first, then a video rendered from the kit's
gallery, then the code. The code on these pages is the same code the crate's documentation
tests compile, with the setup lines hidden.
